Boyle Gives Back
Giving back to the community is a cornerstone of Boyle Nashville’s philosophy, one that benefits its employees and the community. When Jeff Haynes and Phil Fawcett opened the Boyle Nashville office in 2001, they created a mantra that family, faith, and community would always come first.
Each new Boyle Nashville building or development has its own non-profit partner, which it supports throughout the year.
Boyle’s newest property, Synergy Park, recently partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee to kick off “The Month of Giving” throughout October. Big Brothers Big Sisters offers a mentoring network in which the organization makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18.
“The Month of Giving” is a month long competition between tenants to raise money and volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters. The tenant that raises the most money receives reserved parking spaces and other prizes. Boyle is showing its commitment to the organization by matching all donations raised by the tenants and vendors.
“The goal is to raise awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and for this to become an annual tradition and event at Synergy,” says Thomas McDaniel, director of retail leasing for Boyle Nashville.
McDaniel, a long-time supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and “Big” brother, encouraged the partnership between Boyle and the non-profit, and hopes to raise nearly $15,000 or more during the first “Month of Giving.”
