Responsibilities:Oversees Boyle’s office properties in Nashville, which includes over 3.5 million SF of existing space and another 2 million SF in the planning and development stages. McDaniel handles leasing, acquisition, and development activities for Boyle’s office properties in Nashville.
Professional Record: Since joining Boyle in 2002, he has participated in hundreds of transactions totaling more than $1 billion value and been involved with the development/re-development of 2 million SF office space. McDaniel has served (for more than 10 years) as an adjunct professor at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Prior to joining Boyle, McDaniel was a CPA and senior auditor for Ernst & Young’s New Orleans office, where he specialized in real estate clients.
Education:Education: McDaniel received a B.S. in Management from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, where he was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and was awarded the Burkenroad Award as the Freeman School’s top graduate. McDaniel received an M.B.A. from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University, where he was also awarded the Dean’s Scholarship.
Professional Affiliations:McDaniel is a past President and 14-year Board member of the Tennessee chapter of NAIOP. Prior to being chosen as President, he was the Governmental Relations Chair, where he initiated the establishment of the Nashville NAIOP Political Action Committee. He was a 2007 recipient of the NAIOP Developing Leaders Award.
Civic and Community Involvement:McDaniel is a past President and Board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. He is a past Board member of the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce. He is on the Board of Trustees at Harding Academy. He is a member of St Henry Church
