2003 DEVELOPING NEWS
After 70 years, Boyle isn’t slowing down
RIDGEWAY CENTER YOUTH VILLAGES 5K RUN
Boyle has never been content to rest on its accomplishments. The company continues to make news with announcements, openings and groundbreakings.
In the retail sector, Boyle recently began leasing space in The Shops of Riveredge. The new neighborhood shopping center at Forest Hill-Irene and Walnut Grove has already landed an anchor tenant – a new full-service Walgreens store. The shops of Riveredge will offer retailers smaller, more intimate spaces with all of the high-quality finishing touches that have made Boyle so well-known.
In other retail news, longtime Ridgeway Center tenant Ruth’s Chris Steak House has enhanced the dining experience for its guests with a complete renovation of an 8,000-square-foot space at Regalia, which now seats 250. The restaurant offers its patrons a rich ambiance created by the combination of a brick fireplace, hand-carved mahogany throughout, and wine storage that was custom built into the walls. In addition, the new Ruth’s Chris has a private meeting room that can accommodate groups as large as 50 people, or smaller groups of 25.
In the residential arena, sales are already underway at Braystone Park, a family-oriented residential community nestled among the gently rolling hills of Collierville. Located at BrayStation Road and Shelton Road, this 100-acre subdivision offers an exceptional quality of life. In addition to large lots, wooded areas and lush landscaping, Braystone Park’s plans include a lake, walking trails, a swimming pool, tennis courts and a soccer field. Located in what has become known as the estate area of Collierville. Braystone Park offers homes from $395,000 to $550,000.
In the office arena, one of the most notable developments is the fact that Ridgeway Center continues to bloom as the epicenter of the East Memphis office market. Ridgeway Center recently hosted the 21st Annual Youth Villages 5K Run/Walk (pictured at top), an event that has raised more than $1 million for the children of Youth Villages. Boyle has one site remaining at Humphreys Center at North Humphreys Boulevard and Walnut Grove Road. The 8-acre site can accommodate two 50,000-square-foot office buildings and is conveniently located near major medical facilities in the heart of East Memphis at I-240. In addition, up to 10,000 square feet of Class A office space is available in the Helena Chemical Company headquarters facility at Schilling Farms in Collierville.
And one of the most exciting developments at Boyle is the emergence of the plan for a one-of-a-kind, 600-acre mixed-use community in Franklin, Tennessee. The planning process has already begun on the project, which will convert the well-known Berry property in the historic town of Franklin into an attractive home for families, shops, and businesses. When complete, the community will evoke the small-town character of Franklin’s past.
