Capitol View hosted its inaugural May Day Festival

Capitol View hosted its inaugural May Day Festival, a free, family-friendly block party, on Saturday, May 6, from 12–6 p.m. The ’70s-themed celebration featured live entertainment and diverse musical performers, such as ’80s New Wave band The Spazmatics Nashville, all-female alt-pop band Sorry, Peach from South Carolina, nonprofit dance team Dancing Divas & Dudes, artist and musician Jenny Rae and pop artist Bella Rose.

With activities ranging from face painting to flower crown building, to a tie-dye station and balloon animals, there will be activities for people of all ages to enjoy.
