Construction continues on the first office building at Schilling Farms, Boyle’s 443-acre mixed-use community in Collierville.

The 62,000-square-foot, Class A, one-story office/flex building has an attractive brick-and-glass exterior and will be surrounded by extensive landscaping. The building is expandable to 86,000 square feet and provides a high parking ratio. The building will have 14-foot clear ceilings. Located on a 6.5-acre site at 1125 Schilling Boulevard East, the facility is scheduled for completion in early 2000. The architect for the project is The Crump Firm, and construction on the building is being handled by Mid-America Construction.

“The office/flex building can accommodate a variety of different users,” says Boyle’s senior vice president, Cary Whitehead, who is in charge of development of the building. “Schilling Farms Business Center is strategically located in the heart of Collierville and is convenient to Nonconnah Parkway.”

“With the FedEx technology campus and the substantial growth that Collierville has experienced, there is strong demand for well-located office space.” says Joel Fulmer, Boyle’s vice president, who is in charge of leasing the building.

Boyle also has plans to develop an office-warehouse building at Schilling Farms. Construction on that 120,000 – square – foot facility is anticipated to commence in the near future.
