Pinnacle plans branch in HCA tower

Nashville’s largest bank plans to open a branch in the North Gulch office tower that will soon be filled with employees of the city’s altogether biggest company.

Officials with Pinnacle Financial Partners this morning said they will open their 29th area office in HCA’s 16-story tower at 1100 Charlotte Ave.

“We’re very strategic about when and where we build new offices, and 1100 Charlotte at Capitol View is a perfect fit for us,” Pinnacle Chairman Rob McCabe said. “This will be our third office in downtown Nashville, giving our clients who live and work in the city the added convenience of another prime location.”

Pinnacle’s office will take up 4,554 square feet of ground-floor space fronting 11th Avenue North. Hastings Architecture Associates is designing the office and R.C. Mathews is the general contractor. Work is scheduled to begin after the new year and is expected to be finishing in the spring.

Raquel Beck, who joined Pinnacle last year, will manage the Capitol View office and be joined by financial advisors Kevin Roddey and Nancy Benskin, who are now working in Belle Meade and West End. Additionally, financial advisor James Hundley will relocate from Pinnacle’s Belle Meade office.

1100 Charlotte will be the first building to be completed in Boyle Investment’s Capitol View development, which envisions several more mixed-use buildings, including a grocery and a hotel.
