Nashville-based Pinnacle Financial Partners (Nasdaq: PNFP) is getting a new Memphis headquarters.
Earlier, it was revealed via a $20 million building permit that Boyle Investment Company would construct a new, 155,000-square-foot office building at 949 S. Shady Grove Road, and now its first tenant — Pinnacle — has been announced.
“As we continue to hire the best bankers and grow our operations in Memphis, we need more space to serve clients and the community,” said Kirk P. Bailey, chairman for Pinnacle Memphis, in a press release. “We are excited to put our mark on a first-class building in a highly desirable location.”
Pinnacle will occupy 35,000 square feet of space at the building. There also will be two remote drive-through banking lanes and a drive-up ATM. Pinnacle’s interior at the Boyle building will have a full-service banking office, conference rooms and a learning center.
Construction on the seven-acre, six-story Class A office space is expected to start right away, with a fall 2017 tenant move-in date.
The building will mark the first new-build multi-tenant Class A office developed in Memphis since 2008, according to Boyle.
“We’re thrilled to move forward with this new building and to welcome Pinnacle as the first tenant,” said Mark Halperin, Boyle’s executive vice president and chief operating offier.
Currently, Pinnacle’s Memphis headquarters are located at 6525 Quail Hollow Road, the former Magna Bank headquarters.
