Progress Continues on Mixed-Use Projects in Nashville

At the 32-acre Capitol View project in the Gulch, a new HCA building is under construction, and plans are underway for a, 300,000 SF ‘Class A’ building with 20,000 SF of ground floor retail space, a garage, and hotel. Drawings are underway for 375 apartment units, 60,000 SF of ground floor retail space, 40,000 SF of second floor office space, and a parking garage. When complete, Capitol View will offer 1,000,000 SF of office space, 300,000 SF of retail space, 1,000 multi-family units, two hotels, and 4,000 parking spaces.

A new Publix-anchored shopping center is underway at Berry Farms in Franklin, and construction commenced on The Offices at Town Center, a 25-acre district with 250,000 SF of ‘Class A’ mid-rise office buildings. A groundbreaking was held for a Hampton Inn & Suites in Town Center, and 130 residential units and 27,000 SF of specialty retail is complete. When finished, the 600-acre Berry Farms will contain 1,100 residential units, 1.9 million SF of retail and 3 million SF of office space.
