The Food Biz: ‘Bama Chain Prepping Cool Springs Location

Coming soon to what we’ll call the “Little Nashville” corridor of Cool Springs is Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill.

The chain, which has two locations near Birmingham, is moving ahead with construction on its new store at 1175 Meridian Blvd., right down the row from the recently opened Swanky’s Taco Shop and the Williamson County outposts of Boscos, Noshville, Tin Roof, Gigi’s Cupcakes and others.

Both the restaurant’s website and banner out front promise that the restaurant will be “opening soon.” The menu will consist of Cajun favorites such as crawfish, Po’ Boys, oysters, fried alligator and boudin.
