With the completion of three major new office, retail and multi-family components at Schilling Farms, the master-planned 443-acre community in Collierville is achieving its ultimate goal of providing an unmatched quality of life behind its simple white fences. Residents, employees, tenants and families are able to live, work, and now shop in a walkable, small-town environment that is unique to this area.

The new projects are all located at an 11-acre site at the southeast corner of Schilling and Winchester Boulevards.  A ribbon cutting was held in July for the grand opening of a new 50,000-square-foot ‘Class A’ office building at 255 Schilling Boulevard, where Helena Chemical Company’s Southern Business Unit occupies 25,000 square feet of office space. Another 25,000 square feet of ground floor space is available for lease.  The first floor space offers plenty of parking and is convenient for a variety of office users such as insurance companies, banks, attorneys, or real estate agencies.

“We want to thank Boyle for their new investment in Collierville with this ‘Class A’ office complex,” said Mayor Stan Joyner at the ribbon cutting.  “This new office complex development brings a level of national prestige and recognition that the Collierville business community will welcome and embrace. It is great to see one of our existing companies prosper and expand into this space. Helena has held a strong presence in our community for many years, and we look forward to continuing to watch them grow.”

“Helena’s expansion puts in place another piece of the emerging mixed-use core of Schilling Farms, Collierville’s premier district for corporate headquarters,” says Mark Halperin, Executive Vice President and COO of Boyle. “The expansion site completes the southern village core, which we think is one of the best locations in Collierville for state-of-the-art ‘Class A’ office space.

The retail component of Schilling Farms has been enhanced by the completion of a 9,000-square-foot shopping center that offers residents and office workers convenient shopping options at the intersection of Schilling Boulevard and Winchester. The center will be ready for occupancy in December, and discussions are underway with a number of current and new-to-market prospects.

Leasing is underway on a second phase of Boyle’s upscale multi-family community project. The Carrington at Schilling Farms that opened two years ago proved to be so popular that a second phase, Carrington West, has been developed and offers another 125-units of boutique apartments and townhomes with amenities including a pool and fitness center.
