Vesta Draws 5,662 On Opening Weekend

Despite a rainy opening weekend, the Vesta Home Show taking place at The Neighborhood at Schilling Farms in Collierville drew a crowd of 5,662 people, according to officials with the Home Builders Association of Memphis, which presents the event.

Vesta for 16 years has attracted an average of more than 29,000 visitors each year, and, officials expect to reach those numbers again this year in Collierville, especially whit some sunny Autumn weather.

The Vesta Home Show is making its return to Collierville for the first time since 1995.

Schilling Farms, a $350-million, 443-acre planned development, is a joint venture between Boyle Investment Company and Harry Smith, chairman of Schilling, Inc.

The 1999 Vesta Home Show at Schilling Farms features six luxury homes designed and decorated by leaders in their professions.

Tickets for Vesta Home Show are $7 at the gate with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the International Children’s heart Foundation.

The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends through October 24.
