Henry Morgan

Co-Chairman Emeritus

Responsibilities:As Co-Chairman Emeritus of Boyle Investment Company, Morgan provides strategic direction to the company along side his fellow Co-Chairman Emeritus Bayard Boyle, Jr.  He also reviews the company's joint ventures and development projects, primarily office and retail.  He previously served as President of the company from 1985 to 2012.

Professional Record:Morgan is involved with Boyle's major development projects, including finance, design, construction, and leasing. He has directly overseen the development of more than 6+ million square feet of commercial space with a value of $700 million. Initially involved with commercial development and mortgage banking for a number of years, Morgan formed the Office Development Team in 1973 and also established Mid-America Construction Company.  In 2012, he was inducted into the Memphis Area Association of Realtors Commercial Hall of Fame at the Pinnacle Awards.

Education:Morgan, a graduate of the University of North Carolina, has also completed extensive studies in the areas of real estate finance and appraisal.

Civic and Community Involvement:Morgan has twice served on the Board of Directors for the Memphis Area Chamber of Commerce, and serves as a current board member and was past chairman (2006-2007) of the Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation. He previously was a board member of the Memphis Arts Council, Memphis University School, Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School, Trezevant Manor (an Episcopal retirement/nursing home in Memphis), and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Memphis. He was inducted into the Society of Entrepreneurs in 2001. Morgan also served as a vestry member for St. John's Episcopal Church.
